My son is 4 and it works great for him. This is a great first CD player.
It was broken before I could use it and I mailed it back immediately to the owner and have not received a refund as of this date.
Did not bother to return, holding it closed with a rubberband and went to Bestbuy and bought a better cd player. Opened it to place a cd and it would not close, the button stuck. Did not like. Very poor quality.
Had I known, I'd have purchased something which had the specified capacity. The product cannot be operated by AC converter; it operates by battery only. AMZN should specify this.
